What he could see of them, that is. It turns out that this Archen suffered from a bit of Myopia, or near-sightedness. He seems to be taking it all in stride, though, and doesn't let it stop him from flying. It's just..best if he has someone with him. If he'll allow it given how stubborn he can be.
Crater refuses to let anything stand in his way and wants to train hard so he can battle alongside all the other Pokemon in his new family. He seems to get along very well with his fellow fossil Pokemon Rude and the Aerodactyl doesn't seem to mind slyly following the other and guiding him along when they go flying. Crater is definitely getting better at flying with the slight hindrance his sight causes and tends to rely more on gliding than anything else to get wherever he needs to go. His speed of flight has increased a lot, as well, and he's slowly getting to the point where he can come in for landings without completely botching them.
The addition of Rekka the Spearow to the team has made Crater feel a little less out of place given his fellow flier's hearing issues and the pair have bonded pretty quickly. Together they seem to be able to help one another compensate for what the other lacks and more often than not they can be found roosting together after a long day of training.
