Met in Ecruteak City (level 10) | August 30th, 2017 As they were getting ready to leave Ecruteak and head back to the Kanto Region, Cissnei noticed that something had taken up residence on top of her Pokemon, Rocket. Upon inspection she found a pale colored little Pumpkaboo nestled in the leaves of Rocket's head and it was clear that the Exeggutor had decided the small little thing was hers now. Cissnei didn't have the heart to break them up and allowed the small little Pumpkaboo to come along with them.
It's rare to ever find Buttercup far from Rocket or Materia, for that matter, and while she has gotten more comfortable around Cissnei she still prefers to let Rocket do all the talking for her.
During her trip back to the Sevii Islands after searching for Walter, Cissnei crossed paths with a young man that was an aspiring breeder. Buttercup almost immediately took to the young man and Cissnei ended up giving him the little Pumpkaboo to help his team grow.
