He's quite adventurous and seems to have a genuine curiosity about everything they encounter, always running ahead of the group to get a look before anyone else. He doesn't seem all that put off by any Pokemon he encounters, big or small, and will stride right up to them or engage in a fight--even though he's still a little too young for that sort of thing.
