I was thinking of taking up a job - not only to gather Gil-- or whatever the currency of this land is called, but to gather information. Can you believe there seems to be no armorers? But I'd need to linger for quite some time for that.
[ He lets out a little laugh, before letting himself relax. ]
I've not been to the sea before - far too busy aiding in the Dragonsong War, but... even that cruise to Pallet Town was splendid. Is it much different to that?
Outside of constant battling, getting a job does seem like the best means of keeping up a good savings to fall back on.
[She's been doing odd jobs here and there herself. Just nothing steady yet.]
It might be worthwhile for you to travel a bit and get a feel for the resources available before you settle down and become a full time armorer. It'll give you a chance to find the best city to set up shop in, too.
[Though she can't help but wonder if armor for Pokemon would be something more people would be interested in here.]
Not much, just a different view is all. Apparently the islands we're heading to are very nice. Tropical, full of all sorts of interesting Pokemon variations. I'm only going to spend a couple days on the islands but if I find anything interesting I'll send pictures.
Constant battles may tired our allies, as well - even beasts require rest.
True - it's not a skill I harnessed in Eorzea - but would it not be helpful? Even if we are not meant to fight with our fists, these beasts are still a danger. Do you recall prom? One of those large bats bit me quite badly. [ And yet, he can laugh it off. Which turns to a little sorrow, as he closes his eyes. ]
I'd enjoy that, Cissnei. Those variations - that would be where the two Vulpix came from, then. I've an egg of one - the snow-like Ice-type. I've already chosen a name for when they hatch.
[Like Reno. Her little Vulpix is quite the lazy bum sometimes.]
You got it looked at, I hope. The last thing anyone wants is to end up with an infected Pokemon bite.
And I guess you do have a point, in that sort of situation. There are some pretty large Pokemon out there--some that could do a lot of damage if prompted.
[She smiles again.] I got the chance to meet one of the ice Vulpix at Prom. They are very lovely. What name did you pick out?
Of course! But I could not simply stop investigating - there were others who needed help more.
[ That's what he does. Plus he was still trying to figure out if he was dear or alive. ]
And her name shall be Iceheart - after one I wished to know more. She was the leader of the heretic, and could turn into Shiva. How much could I have learned?
That's true but you won't be able to help in the future, if it's needed, if you get sick.
[Silly boy.]
Shiva...it's still interesting to me how many similarities there are between our worlds. I can't imagine it would have been easy to learn about someone that could become a summon.
